Sam Wellington III, aka “‘Rilla”
“Let loose, have fun and find the freedom of your body.”
Sam is the inventor of the Jungle gym exercise method – finding your inner animal and letting it loose in your workout. Jungle gym workouts can be physical, powerful, wild and challenging, but they also set free your intrinsic beauty, simplicity and magic. According to Sam, each of us has a unique reservoir of strength, vitality, and skill. Find that inner reservoir, and exercise becomes a thrilling and empowering experience.
Sam’s positive energy is infectious, and he loves to make your workouts just a ton of fun. “Every visit is a surprise,” says Sam. He applies his intuition and feelings into his training. He likes to look into the eyes of his clients and assess how they feel that day to determine what happens in each session, whether it is a walk on the beach for a chat, or a kickboxing session, or just a relaxing massage.
Sam is expert at many different exercise styles, but he has a special love of the martial arts. He is our boxing and kickboxing expert, and he has introduced the Joy of Punching to men, women and young athletes alike. And yet, Sam definitely has a softer side; he is also our resident massage therapist.
Sam has more than 10 years of martial arts experience in a variety of styles, including Capoiera, mixed martial arts, and kickboxing. He is also Certified Massage Therapist in the State of California, a Reiki Practioner, and a graduate of the Healing Hands Holistic Institute.

Scott Succardi, aka “The Wolfman”
“If you crave a goal…. you should relentlessly pursue and attain it!”
Above all else, Scott believes in having fun in the studio – like you’re working out with your best friend (fitness friend, anyway). He likes to challenge his clients by mixing different modalities of training into a workout, using kickboxing, plyometrics, isometrics, calisthenics, weight training, and yoga, among others. Mixing it up, Scott says, makes it fun and enjoyable to exercise – and you’ll get fit at the same time!
Scott has been passionate about fitness and health since childhood. Here is Scott’s promise: “I’ll not only physically train you, but I promise to educate you, motivate you, encourage you, and help you stay disciplined in order to realize and embrace your greatest potential.”
Scott has a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from San Diego State University.
He is also certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and the NCCPT (National Council for Certified Personal Trainers) in Personal Training, Yoga, Diet and Weight Management, and CPR.
